It lies half-way between the Ionian and Adriatic seas - about 30 kms from both of them, where you can find both beaches offering modern services or totally isolated beaches surrounded by wild countryside with a clear, blue sea, and everywhere you will find typical restaurants where you can enjoy locally-caught fish accompanied by excellent wines from the area such as il Primitivo and il Negroamaro. Brindisi is about 35 kms away, Taranto 45, Ostuni 35, Lecce 60.
