Villa Hyria lies in a tranquil position in the Apulian countryside about 2 kms from the town of Oria, a typical baroque town whose origins go back to the year 1000. It has all the services you might need: shops, banks and excellent restaurants, and a particular curiosity you should not miss is the museum for the traditional local ice-cream; the Ethnographical Museum is also interesting and has the largest number of exhibits in the south of Italy. The villa is half-way between the Ionian Sea and the Adriatic Sea, about 25 kms away, and you can find both beaches with services and absolutely deserted beaches - surrounded by untouched countryside and with a beautiful limpid blue sea.
